Ms Sally Hood

Sally is the Laboratory Manager for the Systems Neuroscience Theme and has broad involvement across projects including sepsis, cardiopulmonary bypass, heart failure, dialysis, and optogenetics. She has over 20-years’ experience in large animal research and with over 40 publications, has a passion for discovery science that can translate to clinical trials to improve health outcomes for patients.

More recently Sally become the Quality Officer for CREDOS-Biotech, a GLP certified facility which began at the Florey in 2024. Her excellent interpersonal skills combined with comprehensive knowledge of scientific content and GLP principles ensure high quality data output in compliance with GLP standards.
